Where can we find you?

Menopause Mentor Melbourne. @menopausementor.melb

Why do you love what you do?

I love taking my lived experience and varied clinical expertise and empowering women with first hand knowledge and empathy

Why would someone come and see you?

Patients come to see me for straight talking and no nonsense listening - no rushing - and if we need to go a little longer, then we do. My standard consult is one hour for Peri/Menopause with a pre-emptive 20 minute telehealth beforehand. No rush, plenty of frank conversation and a full medical and psycho social history that allows us to sort out the conundrum of their individual health issues and symptoms in order to better serve them as people.

When do you introduce the idea of lubricant with your patients?

I use a brilliant Cliterate Model of the Vulva and Clitoris and discuss unexplained skin itching or vaginal pain on intercourse and get them to test the lubricant on their hands, after first trying a nasty supermarket/pharmacy brand - the difference is recognised by patients immediately. I have also road-tested every form of Ellechemy except for the CBD lubricant - so I can describe exactly how each one works and the pros and cons for that individual patient's needs and hopes.

What's your favourite fact about the female body

The female brain is amazing.... because we are all so varied in our thinking, but have a commonality of feminine power that cannot be underestimated or discounted.
