What fragrance do we use?
You may choose to apply a natural geranium fragrance which is subtle and pleasant when your prescription product is custom made at your request.
Why geranium?
If you crush a geranium leaf in your fingers, the scent is a mix of citrus, herbaceous spice and rose with fruit accents.
In addition to it's attractive scent, natural geranium boasts anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antibacterial properties.
In Chinese medicine, geranium is reputed to enhance circulation, soothe menstrual and menopause symptoms, reduce pain and blood pressure and boost immunity.
Why would I wish to have fragrance in my lube?
There is nothing wrong or abnormal about natural human body odour. However just as we sometimes choose to use deodorant, perfume, fragranced shampoos or body lotion, adding fragrance to lubricant is a valid personal choice and one many enjoy.
Is fragrance safe?
The importance here is in choosing a fragrance that does not harm, cause irritation, result in pH imbalance. In an ideal world, as well as a pleasant scent, the fragrance chosen should have other benefits. Natural hypoallergenic geranium ticks every box and is even suitable for those with sensitive skin.
